Shipping Policy — Key Points
- We ship worldwide except Russia and Belarus.
- Joyseat (custom) is shipped in two separate parcels: first the Smiling Butt Kit (SBK), then the finished Joyseat saddle — each with its own tracking.
- Joyseat production begins after we receive your SBK photos. From the date all required data is received, the estimated production and shipping time is 3 weeks for PLUS, 4 weeks for PRO, and 4 weeks for ULTRA. During busy times, delivery may be delayed by up to two weeks. (pre-orders up to 14 weeks when marked).
- Payment methods: major cards (Visa, MasterCard, Amex), PayPal, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay. Currency depends on your domain (EUR / GBP / USD / CZK).

Other international destinations are typically shipped DAP (Delivered At Place), where duties, taxes and customs fees may apply.

- Joyseat shipping costs for most EU countries: standard delivery free, express options from €10. Other regions (UK, CH, NO, USA, Canada, distant markets, Rest of World) have fixed express rates.
- For other products (non-custom goods), shipping prices depend on region, order value and carrier; EU orders often ship free above a certain basket value.
- Risk of loss passes to the customer when goods are handed over to the carrier, unless mandatory consumer law in your country states otherwise.
- If a parcel arrives damaged or tampered with, you must immediately contact the carrier and start their claim process, and also inform Posedla (see section 8).

1) Payment methods & currency mapping
Payment methods: We accept major debit/credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), PayPal, Shop Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Available options may vary by region and device.

2) Order processing time
We typically need up to 24 hours to process orders for dispatch (for example, shipping the SBK for Joyseat). If a product page specifies a longer lead time (such as a pre-order), that timeline applies.
3) Joyseat (custom) — production & delivery
Joyseat saddles are custom-made to your measurements and configuration.
- Production begins after we receive your SBK photos and all required inputs.
- Standard production + transit window is 3 weeks for PLUS, 4 weeks for PRO, and 4 weeks for ULTRA.
- During busy times, delivery may be delayed by up to two weeks.
- Pre-orders explicitly marked on the product page may take up to 14 weeks.
- Transit times of the carriers listed below are included within this window.
3.1 Dispatch timing and “ready to dispatch” (Joyseat)
Smiling Butt Kit (SBK): We process SBK shipments within roughly 24 hours of your order. You will receive tracking information once the SBK is shipped.
Finished Joyseat (custom saddle): Normal dispatch time is 3-4 weeks from the point at which we have received all required production materials (SBK photos and any other requested inputs). If you supply all required materials at time of order, the total time from order to dispatch is typically 3-4 weeks. Pre-orders explicitly marked on product pages may take up to 14 weeks.
During busy times, delivery may be delayed by up to two weeks.
If you delay materials: If you delay sending required materials, the dispatch date and the capture point will be measured from the date we receive those materials. Your delivery will therefore take longer than 3- 4 weeks. We will notify you once the Joyseat is ready to ship.
4) Joyseat logistics — SBK and finished Joyseat (two shipments)
4.1 Two shipments for Joyseat orders
All Joyseat orders are shipped in two separate parcels:
- Smiling Butt Kit (SBK) — used to capture your data for production.
- Finished Joyseat saddle — shipped after manufacturing is complete.
Each parcel is shipped independently and includes its own tracking number, which we email to you upon dispatch. You can also find tracking information in your account order history where available.
4.2 European Union & Rest of Europe (EUR)
We ship worldwide except Russia and Belarus. For Joyseat within Europe, SBK and Joyseat are each shipped separately (2× per order). Service levels and prices by region are shown below.

6) Taxes, duties & Incoterms
Tax treatment, duties and customs handling depend on the destination market.
For selected international markets, shipments are sent DDP (Delivered Duty Paid). In these destinations, duties and taxes are included and handled by Posedla, with no additional customs charges upon delivery.
Currently, DDP shipping applies to:

For other international destinations, shipments are typically sent DAP (Delivered At Place). In such cases, import duties, VAT/GST and customs handling fees may be charged by local authorities or carriers upon delivery and are the responsibility of the recipient.
Displayed prices and tax treatment may vary depending on the active Shopify market and destination country.
DDP availability may change over time depending on destination market and carrier availability.
7) Changes & order edits
We can edit orders only while they have not yet been processed for shipping. Once the status is “preparing for shipping”, “shipping” or “delivered”, changes cannot be made. If you need modifications (address, items, etc.), please contact our support team as soon as possible after placing your order.
8) Missed delivery / Claims / Returns
8.1 Package inspection on delivery
Please inspect your package upon delivery. If the outer packaging appears tampered with or damaged, you should refuse the parcel and notify both the carrier and Posedla immediately.
If you accept a damaged parcel, you must contact the carrier within 48 hours and initiate their damage claim process. Please also forward a copy of your communication to hello@posedla.com so we can monitor carrier service quality.
8.2 Undeliverable shipments
If a shipment cannot be delivered due to an incorrect address, repeated failed delivery attempts, non-collection, or unjustified refusal (except for damaged/tampered packages), the parcel may be returned to sender by the carrier. In such cases, reshipping fees or return-to-sender charges may apply, based on the carrier’s rate for your destination.
8.3 Complaints & returns
For returns and complaints, please refer to our Refund & Complaints Policy. If a complaint is not upheld, handling and return shipping costs may apply in line with that policy.
